Community Guidelines

Last updated: April 6, 2026

Kinetis Play is built for serious sports fans, thoughtful discussion, and high-quality writing. These Community Guidelines help protect the platform, the people using it, and the kind of community we want to build.

By using Kinetis Play, you agree to follow these Guidelines.

1. Respect the community

Kinetis Play is a place for discussion, disagreement, analysis, and opinion — but it is not a place for abuse.

You may not use the platform to:

  • harass, threaten, or intimidate others
  • bully or target other users
  • use hateful, discriminatory, or demeaning language
  • encourage violence or harm
  • engage in personal attacks instead of discussing the content itself

Debate is welcome. Abuse is not.

2. Keep discussions constructive

Sports bring strong opinions, and that is part of what makes them great. But discussion on Kinetis Play should still be productive and respectful.

We encourage users to:

  • respond to ideas, not attack people
  • disagree without being hostile
  • contribute thoughtful comments and replies
  • help create a space where readers and writers want to keep participating

Comments or posts made only to provoke, insult, derail, or inflame discussion may be removed.

3. No hate speech or discriminatory conduct

We do not allow content that attacks, demeans, excludes, or promotes hatred against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics, including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics.

Content that promotes extremist views, violence, or dehumanization is not allowed.

4. No harassment, threats, or abuse

You may not threaten other users, encourage harassment, send abusive messages, or repeatedly target someone in a way that creates fear, distress, or disruption.

This includes:

  • direct threats
  • repeated unwanted contact
  • dogpiling or coordinated harassment
  • intimidation
  • abusive replies or comments

5. No spam or manipulation

Kinetis Play is not a place for spam, fake engagement, or platform manipulation.

You may not:

  • post repetitive or irrelevant content
  • artificially inflate likes, follows, comments, or engagement
  • use bots or fake accounts to manipulate activity
  • mislead users for clicks, traffic, or attention
  • post promotional content in a deceptive or excessive way

6. Be honest about who you are

Do not impersonate other people, publications, teams, journalists, creators, or brands.

You may not:

  • pretend to be someone else
  • mislead others about your identity or affiliation
  • create fake accounts to deceive, manipulate, or evade enforcement actions

Parody or satire accounts must be clearly presented in a way that does not confuse users.

7. Respect intellectual property

Only post content you have the right to post.

Do not:

  • plagiarize articles, analysis, or commentary
  • copy and paste someone else's work as your own
  • use copyrighted material without permission when permission is required
  • repost writing, graphics, or media in a way that violates another person's rights

Writers should publish original work and properly credit sources when needed.

8. No misinformation or misleading content

Do not knowingly post false, deceptive, or manipulated content in a way that misleads readers.

This includes:

  • fabricated reporting
  • knowingly false claims presented as fact
  • manipulated content intended to deceive
  • misleading headlines or descriptions that do not reflect the actual content

Opinion is allowed. Deliberate deception is not.

9. Keep content relevant and high quality

Kinetis Play is built for sports writing and sports discussion. Content should generally be relevant to the platform and meaningful to readers.

We may remove content that is:

  • unrelated to sports or the community
  • extremely low effort
  • repetitive or copied
  • posted only for self-promotion without real value
  • disruptive to the platform experience

10. Creator standards

If you are part of the Creator Program, you are expected to hold a higher standard of quality and responsibility.

Creators should:

  • publish original, thoughtful work
  • avoid plagiarism and misrepresentation
  • write in good faith
  • contribute positively to the platform's sports community
  • maintain a consistent standard of professionalism

Repeated low-quality, misleading, abusive, or policy-violating content may result in removal from the Creator Program or suspension of platform access.

11. Reporting content

If you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, you may report it through our reporting tools or by contacting support@kinetisplay.com.

When reporting content, please include as much detail as possible, including:

  • links
  • usernames
  • screenshots
  • a short explanation of the issue

12. Enforcement

We may take action when content or behavior violates these Guidelines or harms the platform or its users.

This may include:

  • removing content
  • limiting account features
  • issuing warnings
  • suspending accounts
  • removing creator access
  • permanently banning accounts

We may also act against behavior that attempts to avoid enforcement, including creating replacement accounts after suspension or ban.

13. Changes to these Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
